Yay!!! There's no school tomorrow. Caesar Chavez Day and I think we are the only district that have today off. So an extra day to rest and relax but I have to meet with my Bio group for the dinosaur project plus have a match in the afternoon. So I will be busy tomorrow.
I feel so lucky today. I got a free pair of Golf shoes from Big 5. They forgot to scan that item as they only checked through it so we got to save 30 bucks. Not bad. And I wear size 13...It's big cuz its a different type of shoe with spikes on it. So I will wear it tomorrow when I play and see how it is.
March 31st, this Tuesday, is coming up soon. IT is an important day. The one year anniversay of Joyson Szu, who passed away that morning 2008. He battled leukimia for over a year, getting it in March 2007. I was really saddened from this as he was the same age as me and we had been together for quite some time in boy scout. He always had the positive attitude. After getting diagonsed with leukemia in 07, he underwent massive treatment. It worked but they tried this new treatment on him. I don't think it failed as he ended suffering. I recieved email updates constantly on his situation. I even went to go visit him on January 27, 2008 in his house. Talked to him about things and he seemed really positive. That turned out to be a sad day. So this Tuesday, I will be honoring Joyson.
I have my Spring Break planned out. With my Boy Scouts Troop, we will be going to Grand Canyon National Park for a backpacking trip. It will be a 5 day trip as we will be driving there one day (it takes over 7 hours) and then one day down the Canyon to the Colorado River and 2 days up and one day back. IT will be long and challenging but I am ready for it. My birthday will be the second to last day of the trip but I will celebrate it one day late on the 15th of April when I get back. I will be sure to take lots of pictures as it will be a lifetime memory. It will be fun. Grand Canyon is coming up in a few weeks and I will start getting ready now.
Again, no school tomorrow I am happy.
