First week of school

School has been in session for 7 days now. 10th grade has been pretty cool so far. I have the classes that I requested and boy there is a big difference between a honors and regular class. I've been getting my homework done during the school day and so it makes it easier at home. There hasn't been any major tests yet so it's still quite relaxed. My teachers are pretty chill and aren't as strict as last years. The budget cuts have really affected the school. The classes are so crowded now and filed to the max of 36 people. My MUN class has 51 students. The lunch prices have increased and so on. Heard the teachers got a 5% paycut so no one was laid off. So budget cuts on education is a big issue.

I've also been running cross country. Been to practice since I got back from Taiwan. I have practice everyday from 3-5. I have been in 3 races already, the Great Cow Run last saturday, ABC District Championships, and Woodbridge Invitational today. Woodbridge is one of the largest race in the nation and it was quite fun today running. All the races are 3 miles and I set my PR today. Not sure of exact time but somewhere in the 21-22 minute mark. With the training, my legs aren't as sore as it was last week and that is a good sign. Cross country is fun!!
